We live in a stress-filled world. Stress is something that affects all of us from the youngest to the oldest. While some stress is necessary and positive; too much stress can be toxic. Come learn how the brain develops, our biological need for relationships, and how positive social experiences can buffer the negative effects of stress. Discover the three types of stress responses, the effects of stress on early development and learning, and practical strategies that classroom teachers can use every day to reduce stress responses in the preschool children in your care and in yourself.
*Must complete March 2nd and March 4th training to receive full credit. Both classes are covered in the cost.

Emergency Preparedness and Response in Child Care Training:
Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) in Child Care: This training provides early educators with information and tools to prepare for many types of emergencies. The EPR in Child Care Training addresses NC Child Care Rules on emergency preparedness, current best practice recommendations, and guidance on completing the online EPR Plan. NC Child Care Rules require that a designated individual from all licensed centers and family child care homes complete the training and submit a facility EPR Plan.
