Procedures

Members should check-in at the front desk for each visit.  Members should inform staff of the resources they plan to use in the Resource Room.  If checking materials out, members should bring items to the front desk for staff to checkout.  A maximum of (10) ten items may be checked out at one time.   Members should return material(s) to the front desk and provide the member’s name and item number(s).

check out Period

Materials may be checked out for a (4) four-week period.  Members may return materials prior to the due date and check out new items.  Renewal of items is allowed.  Renewal may be done in person, by calling us at 336.694.1538 or by emailing ccp4child@esinc.net.  All overdue items must be returned before any new materials may be checked out.  Toys and materials should be sanitized prior to returning the item(s) to CCPFC.

Delivery and Curbside Options

Materials and resources may be delivered to members at early childhood programs and agencies or to convenient locations in the community for families.  Members may also request curbside service where CCPFC will pull your materials, check them out to you and bring them to your vehicle.  Materials may be returned in the same manner.  Members should contact CCPFC at 336.694.1538 or ccp4child@esinc.net to learn more about and request these services.

Fees

Membership is free.

Late fees and damage fees apply for all materials if policies and procedures are not followed.  CCPFC expects the resources to be enjoyed by the children; however, any item that is not returned in the same condition in which it was borrowed is subject to a damage fee equal to a replacement cost. Members will be assessed a damage fee for any item/container that is returned broken, with missing pieces, or in any condition that is considered beyond normal wear and tear. The fee will be determined by CCPFC.

Late fees will be charged for items not returned by the due date. A late fee of $1.00 per day, per item will be charged (excluding Saturday, Sunday and Holidays). The member who checked out the item will be responsible for the fee.

Payment of fees may be made by cash, check or money order. If payment will be made in cash, members should bring the exact amount of the fee.  Checks and money orders should be made payable to Caswell County Partnership for Children.
