New Resilience professional development opportunity

We are excited to offer a new professional development opportunity for early childhood educators, parents and caregivers, and community partners.  Resources for Resilience™ will provide a series of Reconnect for Resilience (Reconnect) 14-hour virtual trainings scheduled from October 1 through December 18, 2020.  These trainings will offer a set of easy-to- use tools to stay well in the face of adversity.  In these classes, participants will learn what happens to their own, as well as their students’ or children’s brains and bodies when they are stressed.  Participants will be given tools to stay healthy, connected and resilient during tough times. Reconnect trainings will be offered across two full-days or four half-days. There will also be opportunities to participate in online Listening Circles, where parents, caregivers, teachers and community partners can connect with each other and talk about what is stressful for them right now. Trained facilitators then offer concrete tools designed to help them de-stress and highlight what is getting them through this time of individual and community difficulty.

Space is limited to ten participants in Caswell County. Contact Sandra Hudspeth, Executive Director at ccp4child@esinc.net or 336.694.1538 to get more information and to register for these opportunities.
