Emergency Preparedness and Response
The goal of this course is to provide early educators with the information, knowledge, and tools to prepare them for various types of emergencies. Throughout the training, participants will review different types of emergencies and responses with a focus on planning and preparing for a variety of emergency situations. Through the discussion of planning, early educators will build their knowledge about what is needed to be adequately prepared to respond to emergencies. They will learn how to identify risks and identify the resources they will need. In the preparing stage, early educators will see how they will implement their planning.
